Here’s was the other highlight: As we were standing on the street and debating our next move after lunch, who should come along but two regulars on the Advanced Style blog.
I freaked out and acted like a starstruck teenager. I even asked them to pose for this picture. (Having no idea who they were or anything about the blog, my family thought I’d completely lost my mind.)
Fortunately, they were super-friendly and showed me the corset belt one of them had just picked up at a sample sale.
I admit it, though. Having recently recovered from a broken ankle, I had opted for comfort rather than style in my choice of footwear. And we’d left home before sun up, too, hence the lack of makeup. Oh, well. I hope to run into them again, and I’ll be sure to be wearing makeup and cute shoes.
